Sergeant Marion and K9 Kimber

Sergeant Marion and K9 Kimber began their career together in September of 2011. Kimber is a female Labrador Retriever who is a single purpose K9 trained in narcotics detection and article searches. Sergeant Marion has been with the Kernersville Police Department since 2004.

Officer Branham and K9 Stryker

K9 Stryker is a 2yr old Mal/Shephard mix born in Hungary. He is a full service patrol K9. He specializes in narcotics detection, article and evidence searches, tracking of human scent and apprehension. Stryker began his career with Officer Branham in January. Together they look forward to a safe, long and successful career.

Officer Mundy and K9 Baggio

Officer Mundy and Baggio have been together as a K9 Team since November of 2013. Baggio is trained in narcotics detection. He and Officer Mundy have worked on over 70 drug cases and have found numerous items of evidence to help in criminal cases.

Officer Stokes and K9 Neko

Officer Stokes and K9 Neko began their career together in the fall of 2009. Neko is a male Belgian Malinois, who was born in Slovakia. Neko trained at Southern Police Canine Inc. located in Spring Hope, NC. He is trained to detect narcotics, search/locate articles and evidence, track lost subjects, and track/apprehend suspects of crimes. Neko’s handler, Officer Stokes has been with the Kernersville Police Department since 2004.

Officer Wemlinger and K9 Knox

K9 Knox is a 1 1/2-year-old male Belgium Malinois/Shepherd mix and was born in Hungary. K9 Knox is trained to detect narcotics, search and locate articles and evidence, track lost subjects, and apprehend suspects of crimes. K9 Knox’s handler is Officer Wemlinger who has over 6 years of experience as a Police Officer. K9 Knox and Officer Wemlinger have been serving together since early April of 2016. K9 Knox and Officer Wemlinger look forward to serving the citizens of the town of Kernersville.
